In mid-December 1998, Christiane Yeardley brought Miss Teak and Magia Negra back to us from
Maryborough. Amongst other things, Chris had broken Miss Teak in. In addition, we had a
visit from Wijanda. Here are some photos taken before we went riding in Kuitpo Forest
together:
I was riding Darah, who is usually much more gentle than Miss Teak. They didn't know each
other, however, and Darah aimed a couple of kicks at Miss Teak while we were in the forest.
Nobody's looking too happy in these pictures.
In January we had a storm one night, and went out to put the horses in the stable. I got
some hay for them, dressed in my dressing gown, and the pile of hay fell apart. This is the
result.
