We live next to a nature reserve, the “Dereel lagoon”, often called
“swamp”. In fact, in our experience it's neither; it's a rather dry wetlands, and
a number of animals live in it. It's probably also the reason we have so many birds. For
some reasons, Kookaburras love to sit
on power cables:
