In November 2007 we were given a number of tubes of Hebes, but we're not sure which kind. By the time we planted them in mid-December, they were no longer in the best of shape:

A couple of the ones with the fungus on the roots died, but most of them did well. I forgot to take any photos of them in full bloom, but here they are in January 2009. The first one is one of the plants that survived the root rot. The inflorescences are significantly longer than the “normal” violet-coloured hebes.
