Ingredients

500 g       green beans, preferably small       1
1       shallot       2
100 g       cherry tomatoes       2
1 Tbsp       pine nuts (or to taste)       2
      oil       2
      salt       4
      pepper       4
      savory (optional)       4

Preparation

  1. Clean the beans and cut them into 3 pieces each (about 4 cm long). Cook them in a steamer for about 10 minutes, until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, finely chop the shallot and the garlic, cut the cherry tomatoes in half
  3. Heat a bit of oil and gently fry the shallot and garlic in it over low heat (about 5 minutes). Add the pine nuts and the cherry tomatoes, continue frying for another few minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Place the beans in a bowl, add salt, pepper and savory, as well as the fried mixture. Gently and carefully mix and serve hot.

Goes well with pork, chicken, cevapcici or other meat.
