These are the flowers we had in the garden in early spring 2025, taken mainly on 23 September 2025. They're not all overly pretty, but the purpose of the photos is to record what was in the garden at the time.
As time goes on, there's ever less to see. The best positive side is the number of spring bulbs, particularly in the north bed:

But they're already on their way out.
The Strelitziae reginae have not fared well in the current location, but there are promises of flowers this year:

Maybe it has been too moist for them in previous years.
Others are not doing as well. The Magnolia × soulangeana is just flowering, but there's not much to show for it:

What's it missing? It should have enough fertilizer and water. Wrong soil?
The other gift plant, the Maple “Chantilly Lace” is also alive, but it seems to have lost a lot of its twigs:

Some of the Hebes are also flowering happily:

But others are not, presumably an issue with the irrigation:

And to my surprise a couple of brave tomatoes have held through to the spring:
