These are the flowers we had in the garden in late winter 2019, taken mainly on 21 and
22 August 2019. They're not all overly pretty, but the purpose of the photos is to
record what was in the garden at the time.
Gradually spring seems to be coming. This month has been particularly wet, nearly 80 mm in
the past 31 days, and some of the plants seem to be suffering from it, like maybe
this Epazote that I planted only
last week:
At the top of the list of other sick-looking plants is most definitely
this Corymbia ficifolia that
we bought only two months ago. Here on planting and now:
The roses are not as prolific as this time last year, for the good reason that I had started
pruning them. But I left some buds on the “Monsieur Tillier” which will hopefully last
until the first day of spring:
