These are the flowers we had in the garden in mid-winter 2016, taken mainly on 16 July 2016. They're not all overly pretty, but the purpose of the photos is to record what was in the garden at the time.
It's been a mixed bag this year. The garden is still nowhere as good as in Kleins Road, but we're already seeing things that are better. While the recent strong winds have put paid to any hope of roses surviving through the winter, the Camellia japonica is flowering, by far the earliest we have had:

The Cannas aren't currently flowering, but there are buds, and I haven't given up hope:

The Gazanias are also still flowering happily, and even some of the Petunias aren't completely dead:

Other signs of the coming spring are the first Narcissus (plant), the last of our Cyclamens and a very sad Azalea:
