In August 1983 we went on holiday in Italy and found copies of Michelangelo's “David” on sale everywhere. Yvonne was rather taken by it, and wanted to buy one. We couldn't at the time, but after returning to Wantadilla finally bought a small and not overly accurately copied one.
Since then we've been finding silly things to do with it. This page follows the trend. First, the “real” copy:
