Tessa, I've just received RAI 7 in the mail.  This is a new condition
that you didn't mention on the phone on Tuesday.  On the contrary, you
said then that there were no further issues.  Why didn't you mention
this?  You know that I have complained about additional items several
times in the past.

In addition, this format is very inconvenient for me, and I would have
thought it would be so for you too.  I'm happy to talk to you on the
phone and summarize by email, but I need the documents in
machine-readable form.  Please send all documents, including resend
RAI 7, in machine-readable form.

In any case, I can't agree to item 1-1.  One of the reasons I chose my
own electrician was because of the difficulty of making even minor
changes to what's in the contract.  It's particularly surprising in
view of your own reluctance to supply details:

This was one of the bones of contention.  Why do you now expect me to
provide a one-off plan when your electricians are not prepared to do
so yourselves?

I'd suggest one of the following:

- You take the last electrical plan as a basis.
- You include a minimum standard in the contract, based on your
  reference plans.
- You call Stewart Somersby on 0448 810 100 and discuss the matter
  with him.
- We cancel the contract.

I will not pay for any further documents, and I will not sign a
contract in which any changes to the electricals require an amendment
to the contract.

I should also reiterate that we are very unhappy with the slow
progress of this project.  It's been 6 months since we started, and we
still don't even have a contract.  Please give us a definitive date
when we can move in, with contractual penalty if you do not reach this
date.
