Thanks, Tessa. Most of this looks good, but of course there are some changes: New home estimate: - Item 6, also items 1-4 and 1-5 of the request for additional items: Oven tower 900 mm wide to accommodate the Westinghouse oven with base at 800 mm and space for a microwave oven above at approximately 1400 mm. This will be at the left end of the wall to bedroom 4. Cooktop to be centred in the remaining space. - Item 3 on page 2: Flooring to be vinyl flooring from Delta's Knight Tile or Cabernet lines for all non-tiled areas. Peter tells me that the pricing for both is the same, but since the Cabernet catalogue isn't out yet, we can't make a choice. Request for additional items: - Item 1-11 appears to be a duplication of 1-3. - Item 1-12: Electrical power will probably be 2 phase, 50 A. Powercor won't supply anything more than that. The exact layout of the switchboard will depend on the solar system that we will install. Could you please supply details of your normal wiring showing which points are connected to which circuits? - Items 1-13, 1-14: TV antenna with standard amplifier and cables to media, living and bedrooms 1 and 4. All cables should be terminated. The amplifier is important. - Item 1-15: Normal power and lighting circuits to be supplied by battery backup solar. Additional mains-connected circuit for heavy consumers such as electric kettles, deep fryers and washing machines to kitchen, fridge space, laundry, garage and the two points in family room to the left of the window at bottom of plan, as shown on plan 9 of the architecturals. - Item 1-16: This can be cancelled. - Items 1-17 and 1-18: Cat6 Ethernet cables and blind fibre in study, living, media, family and all bedrooms. Cat6 to be terminated in a single wall socket. Fibre can be left unterminated behind the wall plate. - Item 1-19: All data cables to be connected to a user-supplied switch located in the WIP. Fibre should also end here. - Item 1-20: Two power circuits in WIP, one for switch, one for refrigerators. - Item 1-21: No additional power points are necessary in the kitchen. This item is covered by item 1-15. - Item 1-24: one set of drawers is enough. My understanding is that they are already included. In addition to these items, I have: - We've already deducted the heating. We also need a different hot water supply, probably solar with heat pump backup. Can you quote for this and also let us know how much we would get refunded if we were to supply this item ourselves. In general we'd prefer you to do all the work if your conditions are favourable, but we'd like to be able to supply things ourselves if possible.
