El Mago Negro

Our latest foal is a black Peruvian Paso/Paso Fino cross colt from Don Cristobal out of
Magia Negra. Jorge de Moya has first option on him, but it currently looks like he'll wait for
a filly. Anyway, he agrees with the name we chose, El Mago Negro. These photos were taken about
12 hours after his birth.
Update, December 2002
Magia's second colt from Don Cristobal was also a colt. In the end, Jorge decided to take the
older colt, whom he renamed Mucho Macho. To add to the confusion, we decided we still liked the
name El Mago, so we called the second colt El Mago as well. They've both been gelded.
