Greg's brewing log: Brew 10, Pale ale

Calculated IBU:    24.3

Ingredients:

3kg Coopers Pale Malt extract
38g Fuggles pellets (5% alpha acid)
25g East Kent Goldings pellets (6.1% alpha acid)
    Coopers Pale Ale Yeast starter

Boil 1.5 kg malt extract, fuggles for 60 minutes.  Add remainder of
malt, cooled slowly in fridge.

Obvious mistakes

Consumption

26 November 2003: Two bottles drunk. Relatively bitter, not much malt flavour. Very good head.

9 July 2006: Last bottle drunk. Head still good for an extract brew, too much crystal malt flavour. Doesn't seem to have suffered from the long storage.
