I have now had a total of 27 outages since 29 September, not all of
which have been reported in the logs above (in particular, 26
September 2010 15:35:58 to 15:36:35 and 28 September 2010 12:33:35 to
12:35:04).  All this points to a problem in the network, and not to
the modem.

Could you please send me an updated list of the outages.

If you still believe that this is a modem problem, please forward me
an analysis from IPStar explaining why.  The only information I have
received from them related to a completely different scenario which
could arguably have been a modem problem.
