Copied By: LEHEY_GREG @ESSG SENT: 89-03-21 22:11 FROM: SLOANE_DEBRA @SNAX TO: DL.COSIG @ESSG SUBJECT: Cosig: Linguini with Clam Sauce (white, no cream) LINGUINI WITH CLAM SAUCE Ingredients: (enough for two servings) 5 cloves garlic 1/2 C. dry white wine 1/4 C. olive oil 1/2 - 3/4 C. clam broth 2 or 3 7 oz. cans chopped clams (from canned clams) (amount of clams is up to you) 1/2 C. parsley 1 tsp. basil, oregeno, pepper fresh Parmesan to taste 8-10 oz. linguini How To: Prepare linguini. Saute garlic and olive oil until garlic is tender. Add clams (not broth) and cook 3-4 minutes. Add all other ingredients. Cover and simmer 5-10 minutes (do not let liquid boil down). Toss with linguini and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan.
