A lot of people arrived round the start of the tutorials, but hung around the hallways
talking. We arranged a “BSD couch” conveniently close to an 802.11b wireless
network access point for them to hack.
We needed power for our laptops, of course. Digging under a sofa, this is what we found:
On 26 June was Brian Somers' birthday. Here we are in the bar of the hotel starting the
celebration. Brian didn't like being in the limelight, so I gave him a blindfold to keep the
light out.
Photos of the conference dinner. The food may have been good, but the queues were so long that
I hardly got at the food. I'm glad that I insisted that we have table service at
the AUUG annual conference.
